My daughters have been reading and discussing selections from Slow-Chinese.com on the weekend with their Chinese tutor. The website has great articles on Chinese culture and trends in China, in both simplified and traditional characters. They are appropriate for advanced readers age ~ 9 and up, depending on the articles. I copied many of the articles down in traditional characters and added zhuyin so that my dds wouldn’t get stuck while reading them. These articles are a fantastic way to learn about current Chinese practices. Parents NOT from PRC need to know that the articles are written from the Chinese perspective.
